Initiative Course seeking volunteers.

Hi Rovers, Leaders

Yarra Batman Zone are chasing your assistance at our Initiative Course weekend, it is going to FUN weekend. Our goal is to have 36 Venturers 6 Team groups of 6 Venturers. We would love to cater for all applicants but believe that we can't deal effectively with any more Venturers without more Rover/ leader support. “Great Promotion opportunity for Rovers”

Attached are the details of the stunts to be run We would like your Crew to offer to run a Stunt. The remainder positions will be allocated for leaders to run these. You are asked to bring all the materials to run your stunt. Let me know if you have an issue.

Stunt Details – below is the list for you to make your allocation for the stunts you are to run. Stunts 5 & 6 will require a bit of a walk (about 1km each way) due to locked gates.

Note that the M (moving stunts) will be set up at Camp Warringal to cater for the balance of the Teams later in the afternoon. · Summary of equipment – summary of stunt and equipment you will need to bring (have tried to keep this as small as possible), if you have any problems with the equipment please email us all and if we can all assist that would be appreciated.

Bring anything else you think you require, and also bring your own snacks & water while at the Stunt. We may have access to some UHF radios, this will give us enough communication (if you have your own please bring it along), if that doesn’t work we will end up using mobile phones for communication where needed (Telstra definitely works, others can be a bit patchy), so please email me your mobile number if I don’t already have it. We will be at the Start Point around 1030 hours to attend the briefing meeting. If your crew would like to run a stunt, please let me know and send me an email or call if you have any queries. Thanks,

Cheryl Borg
