Basic Scout Bushwalking Course

The Rover Basic Scout Bushwalking course is the best place to learn how to safely run Rover adventurous activities in the field. If you want to complete the BP Award's physical badge through a journey, or lead Rovers anywhere in the outdoors then this is the course for you!

Does your Crew want to get serious about their hiking? Do you want to meet other Rovers to go hiking with? Are you thinking about stepping up and leading a trip next time you are at the Bogong Rover Chalet?

If you are interesting in developing your abilities as a leader in the outdoors, this is the place to get started.

With a strong Rover flavour, this Basic Scout Bushwalking course is framed around giving you the basic skills you need to complete a Ramble safely and effectively.

The cost of a Basic Scout Bushwalking course is $100.

The next Rover Basic Scout Bushwalking is running at Treetops Scout Camp in Riddells Creek over the weekend of October 21st and 22nd. Applications close September 30th.

This is the weekend as Rover Dinner, and participants will still have the opportunity to attend.
