Ticketing Q&A - Tickets, COVID worries and more!
Does the cost of the ticket include the whole 5 days?
Yes! All Surfmoot tickets will be sold as 5 days tickets for 2021
What are the ticket prices?
All prices indicate a 5 day camp ticket
Extended presale: $110
(there is a small card surcharge on the website also)
Is there a discounted venturer/new rover/18yo ticket?
Yes! We want to strongly encourage all new rovers to join us at Surfmoot so these tickets are $50 (what a bargain)! To get these you will need to message the page letting us know and we can organise with the IT team to get you a special once off discount code to enter when you buy your tickets, when buying tickets you will need to enter your scout rego so the code will only work if you are actually 18 years old.
Can I buy just a 3 day weekend ticket?
Alas no, Surfmoot tickets this year are a 5 day inclusive ticket and are therefore the same price regardless of whether you are here for 5 days or 3 days.
Where can I buy my ticket?
You can buy your Surfmoot 2021 ticket at the vic rovers online store
When does pre-sale end?
Presale prices will end at 11.59pm on the 31st December 2020, and an extended presale tickets will then be available until 11.59pm on the 15th January 2021.
Can I buy a ticket at the gate?
Currently our answer is yes, as per normal for every Surfmoot before. However, this may change depending on lockdown restrictions closer to the event and as a committee we may then mandate presold tickets only, due to potential number caps or safety regulations.
Will there be a cap on numbers this year?
To be completely honest, we don’t have the answer to this yet. We will have to wait until closer to the event to better understand the restrictions, so our advise would be to buy a ticket early just in case.
What happens if the event gets cancelled due to COVID19?
In the unfortunate case that Surfmoot 2021 has to be cancelled, all pre bought tickets will be refunded or given the opportunity to carry over to 2022.
At camp if needed, will there be COVID safety measures?
Absolutely! Your safety and wellbeing is our top priority! We want to ensure everyone is safe and happy. The committee understand that camping is a big part of scouting and we want to run this camp so badly because we know everyone will have a great experience considering the hard times through isolation and lockdowns - but of course we understand that we still need to be safe in doing so. We will have to wait until closer to the event to better understand the restrictions to be sure the extend of measures needed for the camp, but you will always be kept informed as soon as we are informed.
