The CAMS Driver Development Program was established in 2013. In a new approach from the sport’s governing body, CAMS set about taking driver development to the next level. It is incredibly important that CAMS, as the custodian of Australian motor sport, does everything possible to find and support our future champions. The CAMS Driver Development Program is carried out in collaboration with the CAMS Foundation and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and the Australian Sports Commission (ASC).
Driver development in Australian motor sport will benefit from a more active involvement by the sports' peak body with the appointment of a Driver Development Manager by CAMS.
